A new approach to cough and cold remedies

After a ruling by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that banned cough and cold remedies for infants under 2 years of age last year, the FDA has since revised that ruling to include children under the age of 4. But, what should a parent do if their child has a cough or cold if they are no longer allowed to use over-the-counter medicine?
